Through my paintings, I love to capture the ephemeral beauty of botanical subjects so that their season can be extended and they can be enjoyed all year round.

The raindrops on these fresh and bright sweet peas capture an even more brief moment in time. It’s an early summer day. Heavy rain has just stopped beating down. Blue sky is appearing between the clouds, and the sun is shining again.
